muppetofdoom Posted February 25, 2008 Report Posted February 25, 2008 morning you lovely helpful people :o just lately once or twice and again this morning i fire up the old girl 1.9 tdi (98 S plate) and no matter how hard i put my foot down she only crawls up the revs and i struggle to get much over 40mph and then i'll stop somewhere for something get back in and she's right as rain ? Any/all help and suggestions (polite ones) all greatly appreciated, thanks guys 'n gals Quote
?Bleeno? Posted February 25, 2008 Report Posted February 25, 2008 What it sounds like is something is tripping it into limp home mode. When you switch the ignition off and then back on you are temporarily clearing the latched fault. If you have a faulty sensor it will more than likely trigger it again. Time to get the fault codes read using VAG-COM if it happens again. Quote
